① The breakthrough path for domestic storage controller, showcasing Kangxinwei's full-stack self-developed achievements


       From August 26th to 28th, the 22nd Shenzhen International Electronics and Embedded Exhibition (ELEXCON 2025) will be held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center (Futian). Hefei Kangxinwei Storage Technology Co., Ltd., a leading domestic embedded storage controller chip design enterprise with full-stack self-research capabilities (booth number: 1Q26), will participate in the exhibition with its fully self-developed high-end storage controller chips and module products, and will bring multiple terminal demonstration devices equipped with self-developed chips, fully demonstrating its technical strength and practical achievements in the fields of AIoT and embedded storage.


② Breakthrough in mass production technology of SiC optical waveguide, with cost expected to drop to 650 yuan/piece


       Recently, Mude Micro-Nano has achieved a new breakthrough in its silicon carbide optical waveguide technology.


The company has published the latest research results on the second-generation silicon carbide optical waveguide in the optical journal "eLight". According to Mude Micro-Nano's estimation, the cost of silicon carbide optical waveguides will be as low as approximately 650 yuan in the future. Currently, this technical solution has been supplied to several leading enterprises in the industry.


③ SK Hynix announces that it has started mass production of 321-layer QLC NAND flash memory


        On August 25, 2025, SK Hynix announced that it had developed a 321-layer 2Tb (Terabit) QLC* NAND flash memory product and had begun mass production.


④ The US government invests $8.9 billion to acquire shares in Intel

        The semiconductor industry in Malaysia has witnessed a historic breakthrough, as SkyeChip, a local chip design company based in Kuala Lumpur, unveiled the country's first self-developed edge AI chip, MARS1000, on August 25, 2025.


⑦ The first hybrid silicon carbide product in China has achieved mass production


       Recently, XPeng Motors and Xinlian Integration jointly announced that the first hybrid silicon carbide product in China has achieved mass production. This opens up a new path for improving the performance and reducing the cost of new energy vehicles.


⑧ Cambrian announces its latest financial report: revenue surges by 4347%


        On the evening of August 26th, Cambricon released its performance report for the first half of 2025. In the first half of the year, the company achieved operating revenue of RMB 2.881 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 4347.82%. The net profit attributable to shareholders was RMB 1.038 billion, marking a turnaround from losses in the same period last year.

        On August 28, 2025, SK Hynix announced that it had developed and begun supplying customers with the industry's first high-efficiency heat dissipation mobile DRAM product using "High-K EMC*" material.

        On August 5, 2025, STMicroelectronics held a media open day event in Shanghai.
